Rules and Regulations

Guidelines that ensure a productive and respectful learning environment for all

1. Attendance and Punctuality

Regular attendance is mandatory for all enrolled students. Students are expected to:

  • Arrive at least 5 minutes before class begins
  • Maintain a minimum attendance rate of 80% per month
  • Notify the centre at least 24 hours in advance for planned absences
  • Provide valid reasons for any unplanned absences
  • Make up missed classes through scheduled catch-up sessions

2. Dress Code

Students are required to dress appropriately and decently at all times:

  • Smart casual attire is acceptable for all sessions
  • No revealing, offensive, or inappropriate clothing
  • Footwear must be worn at all times within the premises
  • School uniforms are acceptable and encouraged

3. Classroom Conduct

To maintain a conducive learning environment, students must:

  • Maintain silence and attentiveness during lessons
  • Raise hands before speaking or asking questions
  • Refrain from using mobile phones during class (unless authorized)
  • Not engage in side conversations or disruptive behavior
  • Treat all tutors and fellow students with respect
  • Keep the classroom clean and tidy at all times

4. Academic Integrity

De Ambassador Tutorial Centre maintains the highest standards of academic integrity:

  • Cheating or plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited
  • All assignments and tests must be completed independently
  • Students must submit original work only
  • Academic dishonesty may result in immediate dismissal

5. Fee Payment

  • All fees must be paid by the 5th of each month
  • Late payment attracts a penalty fee
  • Students with outstanding fees may be suspended from classes
  • Fee receipts must be kept and presented when required
  • All fee disputes must be reported to the administration within 48 hours

6. Use of Facilities

  • All centre facilities must be used responsibly and with care
  • Students are liable for any damage caused to centre property
  • No food or drinks in the classrooms
  • Study materials borrowed from the centre must be returned promptly

7. Social Media and Communication

  • Students must not post negative or defamatory content about the centre online
  • Sharing of class recordings or materials without permission is prohibited
  • Official communication channels must be used for all centre-related matters

8. Disciplinary Actions

Violations of these rules may result in:

  • Verbal or written warning
  • Suspension from classes
  • Notification of parents or guardians
  • Permanent dismissal from the centre

9. Grievance Procedure

Students who have complaints or grievances should report them to the administration in writing. All complaints will be investigated and resolved within 5 working days.
